
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Abdullah Al-Yahya discussed the results of the state visit made by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Kuwait on November 10. The visit is seen as crucial in strengthening cooperation and the strategic partnership between the UAE and Kuwait due to the deep historical ties between the two countries.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his optimism for the further advancement of cooperation and partnership between the two nations at all levels, aiming to bring prosperity to their peoples. The ministers also talked about various mutual interests concerning their work within the GCC and the broader regional and international developments.
Attendees at the meeting included Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Abdullah Ali Abdullah Saleh Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait during the gathering in Abu Dhabi.
In his statement, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan underlined the strong fraternal relations between the UAE and Kuwait, emphasizing the close ties between their leaderships and peoples. Additionally, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a written invitation from Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, to attend the meeting of the GCC leaders' Supreme Council.
The meeting is set to take place in Kuwait on December 1, 2024. The invitation highlighted the historic relations between the two nations and their populations. Messages of goodwill and cooperation were exchanged during the reception, emphasizing the ongoing commitment to strengthen ties and enhance collaboration between the UAE and Kuwait.
